Group Class- 12 Week Course!

What level is this for, and what age group?
This program is designed for beginners to early intermediate learners, ages 8–12. No prior Spanish experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to speak!

What will they do in class?
In each 35-minute Zoom class, students will discuss the book, answer questions in Spanish, learn to retell parts of the story, and practice key vocabulary and expressions. Classes are super small — just 4 students per group — so every child gets lots of personal attention and speaking time.

We’re new to online learning. How will my child stay engaged?
Our classes are short, high-energy, and interactive. No sitting in silence — students are constantly speaking, moving, and responding. The small group size helps kids feel seen, supported, and excited to participate. Between sessions, Padlet activities and reward coins keep things fresh and fun.

What practice will they do after class?
They can also complete optional tasks from a Practice Choice Board. Every activity earns reward coins, which keeps the learning going long after class ends.

How do you keep kids speaking Spanish and staying motivated?
We combine interactive storytelling, visuals, and honest conversation to keep kids speaking — not just listening. Our  REWARD-WORTHY MOVES  🏆  chart rewards effort in and out of class with monthly prize raffles. The small group size makes it safe to try, speak up, and take risks.

How is this program different?
This isn’t a Zoom lecture or a vocab worksheet disguised as a game. This is a dynamic, story-based course where Spanish comes to life. The original book, personal Padlet, creative tasks, and ultra-small class size make the experience feel personal, social, and real.

What’s the teaching method?
We use comprehensible input — a research-backed approach where students hear and understand real Spanish in context. Think: stories, visuals, repetition, and conversation. It’s how language actually sticks.

How do you teach grammar?
Grammar is taught through short “Grammar Pop” lessons — bite-sized, relevant explanations tied to what they’re reading or trying to say. We don’t drill; we connect grammar to function so students use it naturally when speaking.

Who teaches the class?
Our teachers, Rita and Helga, are warm, experienced, and trained in making Spanish fun and interactive for kids. They lead every class with intention, know each student by name, and build trust inside our intimate 4-student groups.

What’s the cost?

  • $395 for the full 12-week program [you can roll right into the next book]
    2nd Sibling rate: $350

  • $29 for the book + audio + shipping

  • Optional: $195/month for weekly 1-on-1 30-minute Spanish sessions (for kids who want more practice outside of group classes)

What should I expect after the 12 weeks?
Your child will have finished a full chapter book in Spanish — but more importantly, they’ll use the language. Expect more confidence, stronger listening skills, and the ability to express ideas out loud in real Spanish, not just rehearse vocab words.

Is there a program after the 12 weeks?
Yes! They can continue right into Book 2: Octopus Island with the same group and teacher. We keep the momentum going — and the confidence growing. We have kiddos learn with us for years!
